Abstract :
A methodology based on the Walsh function and transform, useful to the evaluation of significant parameters in digital energy measuring instruments is proposed and examined. Experimental tests are performed to define operating procedure and the final results are compared with those obtained using traditional testing methods. A standard evaluation system to test industrial energy meters is designed and developed, providing all the features that guarantee highest performance with the minimal cost
