Abstract :
This paper presents a study of thermal effect in cylindrical conductors produced by harmonic currents and the skin effect. This study is focused from an analytical point of view. Equations based on Bessel formula have been derived and it is possible to implement it in calculators or tablets in order to estimate the produced heat. An experimental verification has been carried out in the laboratory to verify the obtained equations.
