Abstract :
A novel stepped impedance resonator is proposed for a cavity resonator filter design. According to the basic principle of stepped impedance resonators SIR, a miniaturization coaxial cavity filter used in 3G communication is designed by using λg/4 type SIR as the basic harmonic unit. Simulation results show that compared with normal cavity filter, this filter has the advantages of small volume and low insertion loss and high-band rejection.
