Abstract
In this paper, a multi-resolution feedback method is proposed to reduce the communication data in isolated digital power supplies in an attempt to avoid technical and cost disadvantages of high-speed circuits. It uses only 4 bits per sample to provide 10-bit output accuracy, which is higher than existing isolated digital designs. Simulation and preliminary experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
