Abstract :
For large systems´ operations, multiple concurrent failures create a need for maintenance prioritization, to assist the operators in planning repair activities. This paper presents an importance analysis [(Yin, M-L et al., June 2000), (Fricks, R et al., 2003)] that generates a quick reference guideline to aid operators in addressing multiple concurrent asset failures. Repairing assets in order of their contribution to system function will improve overall performance for system repair activity.
