Abstract
The analysis of heart rate variability is very important in the case of examination of patients under mental load. This is an objective method, because it does not require any feed-back or communications with the patients, and thus it does not cause an additional load resulting from examination itself. Such systems can be applied in industrial medicine tests or in the case of diabetics examinations. The author started with the conversion of a standard electrocardiogram into its digital form. Then the block of digital filters was applied for removing such phenomena as: base-line drift or 50 Hz disturbances
