Abstract
It has been found that the accuracy of the constant slope (CS) method was ±16.6°C as compared with conventional aging (CA) (its standard deviation of error Δt , S =8.3°C). A scientific approach to the study of the CS method is presented here. It is noted that this method possesses a certain investigation value, and may be able to help one understand the change law of activation energy in CA, as well as present the complex relation between various rapid methods in order to explore the possibility of developing a higher-accuracy and really practical rapid method
