Abstract :
The modeling of contour error has been studied in this paper to improve the accuracy of CNC machine tools. The theoretical and practical significance of modeling error and controlling error in motion control systems is pointed out, contour error model is obtained focused on beeline and different radius of curvature and common contour of curve for CNC biaxial motion control system, the relation of tracking and contour error is discussed and the mechanism of contour error is revealed.
