Abstract
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are typically comprised of a large number of sensors which are randomly deployed for detecting and monitoring tasks. There are many researches about WSNs which are distributed and deployed in environments where they may not have been designed into a particular control path, and are often very dynamic. However, there are also some cases that WSNs can be controlled easily and are static in most time. In this paper, a static Clustering strategy is proposed to acquire good network performance. And an energy model of this strategy is presented to help determine the initial energy allocation of these clusters heads and nodes. At last, a simulation is presented to show how the energy allocation is determined to makes network lifetimes much longer.
