Field trials of MVDS in the 12 GHz band

Describes R&D work carried out by the IBA in connection with field trials of 12 GHz MVDS in Croydon and Winchester. In 1988, a joint field trial of MVDS at 12 GHz was performed by the IBA in Croydon and by GPT/Marconi in Coventry. The result of this work was a joint report submitted to the DTI in February 1989. In both trials FM modulation was used with a deviation of 8 MHz/V (PAL) in Coventry and 13.5 MHz/V (DMAC) in Croydon.
