Examines the work being carried out by a number of Marconi Group companies in the field of microwave television transmission. The Marconi Group is currently researching, or is in production of MVDS systems operating in the 2.5-2.7 GHz band, the 12.1 to 12.5 GHz band, and the 38 to 40 GHz band. The technology for all of the above frequency bands are discussed
