  • Abstract
Models of the function of the heart are constructed. The various anatomical regions of the heart muscle pass through electrical states. Each region may be in each state for a different amount of time. The application of temporal constraints to the model of the heart is investigated. Two main approaches, one quantitative and one qualitative, are taken, The work is based on the Ticker model of N. Gotts et al. (1989)
