Abstract
Battery testing is a very time consuming operation and the need for a fully automated test station is apparent. The author discusses the use of a PC-based test rig which enables computerised control of cyclic testing of batteries; it also offers the opportunity to realise the various test cycles using software whilst keeping costly hardware requirements to a minimum
