Abstract
Classical overload control for winged missile is analyzed and its shortages are pointed out. To overcome these shortages, an intelligent damping approach is presented after introduction to human imitating intelligent control principle, where dynamic characteristic variables of control system for winged missile are chosen to overload error and its derivative. Moreover, the derivative of overload error is approximately replaced by the angle rate to enhance the damping of system, and four control rules are established by imitating human intelligence. Simulation results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed design approach
