Abstract :
This paper presents the simple temperature control for the low cost, high efficiency and high power factor induction cooking. The single quasi-resonant switch is used for operating under the zero voltage switching (ZVS) condition. The turn on time of the power switch is controlled to regulate the temperature. In order to guaruntee the ZVS operation, the turn off time of the power switch is fixed in the proposed method. Validity of the proposed induction cooking is confirmed by experiment.
