Abstract
The authors show that a synergical approach to remote sensing is possible and examples are presented in the particular case of the ocean surface and of the atmosphere. A direct consequence of this is that future measurement campaign designers should pay attention in order to provide collocated data and so allow a still more efficient use of space payloads
