Abstract :
In this paper, both numerical simulation and experimental research are used to research the vortex street producing and shedding characteristic under different low liquid volume fractions, through comparing the results of these two methods, the error is within 4.64%. When the liquid volume fraction is at 1%, it is obvious that no vortex street shedding exists. Then through the numerical simulation experiment, we reach a conclusion that the existence of droplets will affect the stability of vortex street, and with the increase of liquid volume fraction, the destructive effect is becoming obvious, which also leading to the producing of measurement error.
