Abstract
We develop an efficient algorithm for generating the complex vector {exp(jωon)}n=0:N-1 on standard fixed-point systems. The proposed algorithm employs optimal factorization of the recursion step to achieve different optimality criteria. It provides a good compromise between the contradicting requirements of memory, computation, and quantization error.
