Abstract
The authors describe a result obtained from a reliability calculation for an air conditioning system used for high-power equipment. In the calculation, the time delay effect caused by heat capacity and heat transmission is considered. Two methods are considered for improving power train reliability: (1) improving power train reliability itself as a common block; and (2) attaching some functions to the power train in order to avoid a common block increase. An example of improving power train reliability is shown
