Abstract
The asymptotic behavior of stratified media Green´s function for large source-observer distances is studied. A mixed analytical and numerical solution is provided and asymptotic closed forms of Zenneck and cylindrical surface waves are given. This approach provides an extremely fast and accurate method to compute the Green´s functions at large distances.
