Abstract :
The state space approach is extended to implement general computer programs for analyzing, in both frequency and time domain, networks containing linear multiports which can be lumped, distributed or lumped/distributed. Each multiport network is characterized by its associated state and output equations. A general program is presented, and several examples are successfully analyzed
