Abstract :
In this paper, the distribution and motion of the particles in a residential kitchen was simulated numerically using mixture model of two-phase flow. By analyzing the air flow field and the concentration of the particles, it was found that the distribution of particle concentration in kitchen environment was influenced by the temperature and the velocity of airflow. In view of these two points, the distribution particles of the different diameter and different season (summer and winter) in a kitchen was investigated detailed, the conclusions can improve particle removal efficiency in the kitchen, and are very useful to design reasonable ventilation method.
