Abstract
The ultimate concept of WATCHMAN is a package which integrates pump scheduling with network modelling, using a common database. It will include software to interface with telemetry and telecontrol systems. It will also incorporate demand prediction software, and a menu-driven user interface. The first stage of the package, WATCHMAN I, which was released in March 1990, includes the pump scheduling algorithm with the common database and the user interface, and also a demand specifier
