Abstract :
In this paper, the working principles of the soil-air heat exchanger were presented, and a related experimental study was conducted. The results demonstrated that the experimental system had good performance in terms of continuity and stability. The temperature and humidity of fresh air became lower after long-term steadily running of this system. To sum up, in humid and hot area, cooling and dehumidification of fresh air by using earth energy was an effective measurement to improve indoor air quality and to save energy in summer.
