Abstract
This paper presents a technique to realize the floating inductor. The circuit implementation is based on the use of operational transconductance amplifier (OTAs) as an active element and a grounded capacitor. The floating inductor requires 3-OTAs. The resulting inductance can be electronically adjusted by varying external bias current accordingly. The simulation has been carried out on Tanner EDA tool 13.0 on 0.5μm technology.
