The author discusses the interconnection of IEEE 802 series LANs by the ISDN bearer services. The architecture described is also applicable to LAN/ISDN terminal interworking. He concentrates upon the frame relay bearer service; the architecture is, however, fully compatible with circuit mode bearer services
