  • Abstract
    The lumped compliance compliant mechanism is one of the compliant mechanisms. A new type of 3 DOF translational 3-RRC parallel mechanisms is introduced and is completely changed to a compliant mechanism. This mechanism can be used in micro-displacement manipulator and three-dimension force transducer etc. The relationship between the forces and deformation of the compliant hinge is studied. A new method of equivalent friction circle is applied to carry out the force analysis of the mechanism. This method is convenient to analyze the mechanisms.
