Abstract :
According to the theoretical Analysis, the formulas of one-dimensional stratified foundations are deduced. A new method that calculates the equivalent parameters of one dimensional viscoelasticity about foundation settlement are proposed. The consolidation of variable load can be regarded as superposition function of a certain number of transient load. Therefore, superposition principle can be used to analyze the one-dimensional viscoelasticity settlement on variable load. The concrete examples indicated that the Equivalent parameter method features convenient calculation, reasonable result and forthright.
