Abstract :
The author describes that the current millimetric radar technology is able to provide a car radar with a low cost, high performance, high resolution sensor which, in combination with current digital signal processing capabilities and a careful design of the man machine interface, is capable of fulfilling the market´s desire for a car obstacle detection radar at an affordable price
