Abstract
An algorithm has been developed to automatically realise a network from a given time domain specification. As an illustrative example the authors apply this algorithm to realise a filter matched to a Rayleigh type pulse shape. Coding of the software along with the construction and testing of the filter has been completed and results compare well to theoretical predictions, with a filter bandwidth of 19 MHz and the time of peak response occurring at 36 ns
