Discusses the design, development, and testing phases for creating online courseware that meets customer objectives and increases customer satisfaction. In addition to drawing parallels between creating the product and its courseware, the author emphasizes issues relating to online courseware (as contrasted to traditional paper-based or `stand-up´ training). Two case histories of online courseware illustrate the process
