Abstract :
Those people who are concerned with usability more and more frequently work with multimedia, and thus ask: `how do we effectively and efficiently test and revise user interfaces and educational products that are integrating new media?´ The author reviews some of the resources one can coordinate in an investigation of these issues: usability testing, interface design, technical communication, office information systems, and instructional design. She calls for broad-based research into how new media affect learning and use of products using multimedia
