Abstract :
The paper concerns the design of fixed-weight array processing for a short-boom headset. The fact that the microphone array is placed near the head and in the near-field of the mouth are taken into account. Part of the work is a simulation study based on a numerical model of the sound field around a sphere, which models the human head. These results are compared with measurements taken on a B&K HATS, with good agreement.
