Abstract :
It is pointed out that, despite rounds of team approach training seminars and workshops, all too often team members still do not work well together, and project deadlines are not met. This problem is discussed and the influence of an individual´s ethics on his or her behavior in a team situation is considered as well. It is noted that ethical beliefs have an elemental influence on human relationships, but their role is often ignored by popular management training techniques. The author attempts to show why one cannot afford to ignore an individual team member´s ethics as a basis for action
