  • Abstract
It is pointed out that implementation of a new technology within a company can cause dynamic changes in the corporate culture. Often such change meets with resistance that undermines the effort. Therefore, the success of new technology implementation can depend on how well the cultural change is managed. One key to managing change is a thorough and extensive communications program. The author provides a case study of a successful communications program. Specifically, the development of an effective plan for organizational communications in connection with the implementation of computer-aided software engineering is discussed
