  • Abstract
Within the EEC, from 1992, all electrical products are to comply with the EMC Directive. This means that all electrical products have to be seen to have met the minimum relevant standard of interference-free performance. The author attempts to familiarise a manufacturer with the technical, contractual and general details an EMC test house needs to know before it can evaluate a product in a representative and cost-effective manner
