  • Abstract
Using the heavy metal pollution data tested uninterruptedly of the acid mine drainage (AMD) in tailings pond and waste rock site as the case, this paper studies the oxidation mechanism of sulphide minerals and the dilution mechanism of heavy metal ions. And the rules of the connection between pH value and heavy metal ions´ concentration are also studied by applying mathematic statistics method. The research shows that: the concentration of heavy metal ions is inversely proportional to pH value outstandingly.
