Abstract
The authors formulate a new dynamic channel assignment method as a coloring problem in a network with an edge weight and show that the problem is NP-complete. They propose an application of neural networks to the channel assignment problem in a cellular mobile radio communication system. The computer simulations show that the channel assignment method using a neural network gives a higher spectral efficiency than usual methods
