  • Abstract
In this paper, the effects of different alkali-saline stress on the total rhizome length, new rhizome length and root density of Aneurolepidium chinense were studied. The result shows that rhizome showed higher values in rhizome increase under proper alkali-saline stress intensity (A2), and lower values under higher alkali-saline stress (A3-A5). Heavy stress obviously affected the density of the underground modules than that of the aboveground. The effect of alkali-saline stress on rhizome diameter was not significant.
