Abstract :
Integrated low-power, low-phase-noise voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs) have been designed using a 0.5 μm CMOS technology with three metal layers. The achieved phase noise is as low as -110 dBc/Hz at an offset frequency of 200 kHz, at a power consumption of only 6.6 mW with a 3.3 V power supply. The tuning range is as large as 14%
