Abstract :
Hetao Irrigation District, one of China´s four major irrigation area in the region are widely distributed with the seasonal frozen soil and the hydraulic structure in irrigation being positioned at drainage channels in the whole irrigation. In the long winter, the channel works is bound to withstand freeze thaw cycles seriously. The topic of its maintenance has always been the focus of the loop Irrigation. To this end, we conducted moisture migration and frost heave analysis of seasonal frozen soil.
