Abstract
This paper describes a graduate level, collaboratively taught VLSI Computer-aided Design (CAD) course concurrently offered between the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt), Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), and The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State). The course leveraged computing facilities at each of the three universities provided by The Technology Collaborative (TTC), formerly the Pittsburgh Digital Greenhouse, called the Digital Sandbox.
