Abstract :
The CADAPPLETS project provides web-based animations of VLSI CAD algorithms as a learning resource for students, designers, and tool developers. This paper surveys these animations and describes how they have been used in the classroom and via the Internet. Web server statistics show that the applets are frequently downloaded and run by users at universities, EDA companies, and chip design companies, and that accesses continue to grow.
