Abstract
The vibration signals of the actual structure are mixed in various noises and the analysis result is inaccurate. The independent component analysis (ICA) method is introduced to denoise. Because of the statistical independence between noise and vibration signal, which accords with the requirement of ICA arithmetic, the noise is able to be separated from sensor signals. A noise channel is increased to enlarge the sensor signals in order to satisfy the calculation condition of ICA. In the laboratory, a sensor static relatively to the ground is placed outside the vibration structure. And its signal is regarded as noise channel. The effect of noise reduction on vibration signal by ICA is satisfied, and the denoised signals do not change the dynamical characteristic of structure.
