Abstract
The paper considers the application of recent results on minimax LQG control to the design of a robust controller for an active noise control in acoustic duct. Starting with a model obtained using system identification techniques, the minimax LQG control approach is used to design a controller which minimizes the duct noise level at the microphone. This controller is robust against uncertainties introduced by neglecting the higher order modes of the duct
