Abstract :
This paper reviews the theory and application of spatial information technologies for highway environment protection. More specifically, this paper focuses on the following four areas based on the spatial information technologies: monitoring and supervision of highway environment, integrated management and evaluation of highway environment, simulation and emulation of highway environment, monitoring and early warning of highway environment.
