Abstract :
The paper describes a method of calculating the complex transmission constant of a multiconductor and multidielectric transmission structure with an arbitrary boundary. The metal loss, dielectric loss and transmitter power are derived from the boundary integral equation for the intrinsic mode of the structure. The intrinsic problem is solved by the boundary element method which results in a good accuracy. By use of a conversion from a multimode to a multi-conductor and multi-media structure, we can obtain the complex transmission constant of the structure.
