Abstract
This paper proposes a secure stream multicasting architecture for the 4 K stream, an ultra-wideband motion picture stream. The architecture consists of an authentication-based streaming tree construction mechanism and a streaming data encryption mechanism which generates unique data for each branching element. Their combination allows the user to realize a stream multicasting that is highly resistant to receiver spoofing and data tapping.
