Abstract
The design and application of a mini high-voltage high speed high-current pulse switch for weapon system were introduced. The pressure of gas is designed as 0.6-1.2 atm in this switch and the gas is the inert gas whose ratio has great effect on the self breakdown voltage of it. In the design of operating voltage, it is necessary to balance the following factors: the weapon capabilities, the switch miniaturization, operating reliability, short delay time and so on. If the operating voltage is too high, not only the switches´ volume evidently becomes bigger as well as the weapon´ volume, but also the probability of error action also increases. If the operating voltage is too low, it goes against operating reliably and reducing delay time. The relation diagram between the pulse leading edge and the delay time, the reliability was investigated. The trigger circuits was also designed in this paper.
