Abstract :
This paper proposes a method for avoiding large amount of data saving and reading during the reconstruction of forward-backward time-stepping (FBTS) method using data compression and decompression method. Data compression and decompression are conducted by the cosine transform. A reconstruction example is shown to demonstrate the effect of the proposed method. The reconstruction result with data compression and decompression is acceptable if the compression ratio is less than 90%.
